My oil painting of the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Sofia, Bulgaria. It beautifully captures the grandeur and splendour of this iconic cathedral. In July, I spent a month in Sofia, in Bulgaria. It was a beautiful city and I was really drawn to try to paint that gold. It was a fun challenge to achieve that golden sheen with just yellow, white and red paint!
