Collaboration, feedback and approval
We’ll work closely together through the whole process so you can feel confident about the finished piece. You’ll be able to review and provide feedback on sketches and progress photos at multiple stages. You’ll approve your finished painting.

Safe Delivery Guarantee
Your painting is my responsibility until it arrives safely with you. If it is lost or damaged in transit, I will arrange the repair or replacement, or refund you in full.

Step 1: Enquiry and Booking
We’ll discuss your ideas and availability.
You’ll receive a commission contract and a 50% invoice to secure your place.
Your commission will be scheduled, and I’ll get back in touch just before I start.

Step 2: Sketches and Concept
Together we’ll refine your vision.
I’ll create sketches and paint studies to explore options.
Once you’re happy with the direction, I’ll begin the final painting.

Step 3: Final Painting and Delivery
I’ll share progress photos so you can give feedback.
When your painting is finished and approved, the remaining balance is due.
The piece is varnished, framed, and delivered to you ready to hang.

You don’t need to know exactly what you want.
In fact, most people start with a vague idea.
When you enquire, we’ll discuss the general details of what you’re looking for. Once I start your commission, I’ll refine this into sketches for your review. Together, we will work out exactly what you want.
Collaborating to bring your ideas to life is at the heart of my process, and I’ll guide you through each step to ensure the final piece exceeds your expectations.
Pricing
The price includes all preliminary works, the painting itself, custom framing, worldwide shipping, and everything included in Your Painting’s Story.
Any size and shape is available. These are sizes that are often requested and their prices:
35 × 50cm - £5,400
50 × 70cm - £8,350
70 × 100cm - £12,950
A signed commission contract and 50% instalment is required to book in the commission.
All payments will be via invoice.
All prices are in British pounds, but I accept commissions worldwide.
Availability
I dedicate around six weeks to creating each commissioned painting.
Once complete, the oil paint needs time to dry thoroughly before I varnish the painting and send it to my framer. Framing takes approximately four weeks, followed by delivery to your home.
From starting your painting to delivery, the whole process typically takes around 12–16 weeks.
I take on a maximum of 8 commissions each year, and places are often booked several months in advance.
