The early evening sun casting those long, dramatic shadows is so captivating. How it highlights the very edges of the sculpture in the pond is so delicate. And the light filtering through all those leaves is just gorgeous. As I was walking away from the pond I'd obsessively painted, I knew I needed to capture it in its beautiful surrounds.
