Print Details

Size

Unframed

  • The size ordered is equal to the paper size, with a minimum 1-2.5cm border surrounding the image.
  • In order to fit the entire image in, the border may not be an equal width. This can be seen in the product image.

Framed

  • The size ordered is equal to the glazing size, not the print size.
  • The print is smaller to allow for the surrounding picture mount.
  • The frame profile is 2cm wide.

Giclée printing method

Your artwork is printed using the giclée technique.

This means your print is a gallery-quality reproduction of my original painting.

It is fade-proof, high resolution, and highly pigmented.

You get all the colour and tone variations, details and visual texture of the original painting and your print will look fantastic, forever.

Paper type

Unframed print

  • Hahnemühle German Etching paper, 310gsm.
  • Your paper has a textured velvety matte finish and is designed especially for fine art prints.
  • Has a matte finish that gives you the closest feel of an original painting, while accurately reproducing its colours and tones without any glare.
  • The textured surface of the paper gives depth and emulates the texture from the original painting.

Framed print

  • Enhanced Matte Art Paper, 200gsm.
  • Paper has a smooth, matte surface.
  • The matte finish gives you the closest feel of an original painting, while accurately reproducing its colours and tones without any glare.
  • A smooth textured paper is the best choice for a print that's exhibited and viewed under glass or perspex, allowing for excellent detail and contrast.
