My art prints - detailed specs

Here's everything you've ever wanted to know about my prints!
All prints are open edition, which means that there is no limit on how many are made.
All are printed to the highest quality by professionals specialising in fine art printing.

Unframed Print on Fine Art Paper

SizeThe size ordered is equal to the paper size, with a minimum 1-2.5cm border surrounding the image.

In order to fit the entire image in, the border may not be an equal width. This can be seen in the product image.

Printing method: Giclée. This means your print is a gallery-quality reproduction of my original painting. It is fade-proof, high resolution, and highly pigmented. You’ll get all the colour and tone variations, details and visual texture of the original painting and your print will look fantastic, forever.

Paper type: Premium fine art paper.

Paper brand: Hahnemühle German Etching. This is a traditional mould-made copperplate printing paper, complete with an inkjet coating designed especially for fine art prints.

Paper material: 100% alpha-cellulose. This means it is made from 100% high-grade wood pulp and is durable and sturdy.

Paper weight: 310gsm (grams per square metre). This tells you how thick and sturdy the paper will be. For reference, office printing paper has a gsm of 80, while business cards will be 350gsm.

Paper finish: Paper has a velvety matte finish. A matte finish gives you the closest feel of an original painting, while accurately reproducing its colours and tones without any glare.

Paper texture: Paper has a textured surface. This gives depth and emulates the textured canvas from the original painting.

Paper colour: Paper has a warm, natural white hue.

Sustainability:

FSC certified timber for the paper and packaging. This means it was sourced from sustainable forests.

Vegan certified paper.

Printed using water-based inks. This means the ink used does not contain the toxic chemicals and plastics that solvent-based inks do.
